Well, I was progressing so nicely and then I overdid, taking a walk and forgetting to take it slowly. I was talking on the phone and just started to walk at my pre--surgery fast pace and something didn't feel quite right. That evening and the last couple of days I've been back on Gabapentin, Baclophen and Tylenol. I guess the doctor was right when he said recovery from spine surgery is an up and down kind of thing.I felt pretty "normal" (haha, like I am ever normal!) a few days ago, but the last two days feel like I took a step backwards. :-(
But I'm still doing fine, just taking meds to help me along right now.
