I saw my surgeon two days ago, exactly one month after my surgery and everything is going really well! My X-rays showed that my new titanium hardware is looking great and my spine is now in alignment. Dr. Berven told me to stop wearing my back belt (awesome!) and I am going to begin physical therapy this coming week. I have ZERO regrets about having this surgery.I have gotten a major part of my life back that I haven't had in several years; to stand and to walk without debilitating pain. I am very grateful.
